Marin Large would fit me if I was just wearing a t-shirt for late spring to summer fishing. I ordered XL so the vest will go over a fall or winter jacket...it did not...but no problem as I sewn on velcro strips to hold the vest close (Still have a 1" gap but the vest is not flapping around). I did know that it was a spring or summer vest...so no problem with that.
